Hello,  My Name Is John Bretz, Owner of Sound Sensation.  From the very beginning, it has been our goal to provide the very best musical entertainment and customer service possible.  Any DJ can play good music.  The difference lies in their experience and the way they conduct themselves and their business.

With over 20 years of experience in Sound, Lighting and Music we've helped hundreds of clients and couples plan their parties and wedding receptions.  Our experience with so many different types of events will help you avoid many of the unforeseen problems that can ruin your special day.  One of the best ways we've found to accomplish this is by employing an old fashioned (but seldom used) concept called LISTENING.

Complete Disc Jockey and Emcee Service for all occasions.   Proudly serving Greater Rochester, NY and all surrounding areas.  For all types of events (indoor and out) and all types of music.  Our specialty is a custom tailored show to meet your specific needs.  We take great pride in providing quality service to all our customers.  We use only the very best quality Professional Sound and Lighting Equipment and all of our music is on Compact Disc for the best sound possible.

(currently over 1,100 CDs with more than 14,000 song titles)  It spans nearly every type of music including;

We also carry all of the most popular Dance Party Classics and a wide variety of elegant cocktail and dinner music (soft jazz, piano, classical, etc.).  We can even provide music and microphones for your On-Site Wedding Ceremony.  Offering many types of traditional ceremony music selections and much more.

As your DJ & MC, our job is to make your event fun and lively while maintaining a Professional and Courteous Attitude towards you and your guests at all times.  No loud and obnoxious "Radio Jock" or "One Man Show" act.  It is our firm belief that all aspects of your event are equally important.  The Caterer, Photographer, Banquet Hall, and the DJ must all work together as a team in order to keep things running smoothly.

Your show can be tailored to meet your every need.  With a wide range of music to choose from, we can provide just the right atmosphere to any event from the most elegant of wedding receptions to the wildest party jam.  We will work with you and help plan all of the details that give your event just the right mix of class and fun that you and your guests will enjoy and remember.

Our Secondary Sound System allows us to provide music and microphones in more than one place at your party.  Designed specifically for on-site wedding ceremonies and outdoor cocktail hours,  this scaled down sound system includes 2 compact professional P.A. speakers on telescoping stands and incorporates CD, MD and Cassette Tape players, and a 2 channel cordless microphone system with hand held and body pack transmitter for use with a lapel or head set mic and may also be used for any instrument equipped with standard magnetic pickups.
